MGTU May General Meeting
Wednesday, May 12th at 7:00 PM MST

For our May meeting, we're excited to welcome Madison Gallatin Fisheries Biologist Mike Duncan. He will be discussing FWP’s recent work on the Madison River and what they have planned for the coming year as well as other ongoing work in the drainage. He WILL NOT be discussing the Madison Rec Plan. Questions or inquiries on that topic will be referred to FWP Rec or Helena staff.
Mike is originally from Virginia, and moved to Montana almost 20 years ago to complete his undergraduate degree and work as a fishing guide on the Taylor Fork. He returned to Virginia to complete his masters degree at Virginia Tech before working on the lower Yellowstone River for his doctoral research at MSU. Mike has spent time working on the Yellowstone River oil spill and a variety of other projects for FWP before being hired as the Madison-Gallatin Fisheries Biologist.
This is our last meeting of the general meeting season. We will resume in the fall and hope and plan to meet in-person at that time.
For this meeting, we will host on Zoom. Details on how to join below. We will also do our best to stream LIVE on Facebook.
